Video of the Week #15

For our 15th Video of the Week we have Maya from machinima.com. He does a good example of sandbox mode, even if he does make a few errors (clothing does nothing for protection, nor do darker shirts make it harder for zombies to detect you)

It’s worth a watch, and I’m looking forward to part two!

New Mods and Challenges

Hey everyone! Check out Ringod’s new mods! I also added a new challenge as well. For quick reference you can click the “new content” button on the menu on the left to see the latest things different people have added to the site!

Video of the Week #11

We have a special VotW today. It seems that played the demo AND bought the full version after he heard about the recent burglary and setbacks. Good for you xelnos! We here at pzguides salute you! This is his first playthrough of the game besides playing around in the demo for a few minute, he wasn’t sure what to do with the pillow so tried giving it to Kate…

Enjoy!

Post burglary information

The Indie Stone has released a statement explaining the direction that they are taking after this loss. It reminds me of Churchill in ww2. We will be seeing more information on update progress in the future. Things are not as dire as they originally assumed, but the next update will be limited to NPC stuff, saving and new map stuff will be in later updates. Long live project zomboid!

Delay on 0.6.1

Unfortunately The Indie Stone was robbed today. Both the laptop they write the code on and the laptop they back up the code on have been stolen. This will set the update back. Apparently the most recent backup they have are from before the last update. We need to support them in these trying times, even though it will take longer for the update.

Patience, everyone.

Huge Update to Site

Well. That took a while.

I finally fixed the search function. I added “top content” and “newest content” so that people can quickly navigate to our most popular areas. Not only that but I made it easier (again) for people to submit and edit their own content. I added additional pages. I changed the look and feel of some pages. I moved the rating tool to the bottom of articles (so people will read them before rating them) I cleaned it up so author and date work like they are supposed to, and finally I added a new section called “Articles” in which news articles about Project Zomboid are linked. I think I found almost every article on the web.

Guides and Video Guides updated!

Hey everyone! I just finished updated the guides and video guides section they now operate more like the mods section! You should check them out now. Also: anyone who signs up for the site is free to submit their own content to the site. News, guides, mods, video guides, if you think you are up to it, give it a try! Once your content is published you’ll be able to edit it freely as well to keep your stuff updated!

I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
